SPC2020 Organizer's Statement on COVID-19/Coronavirus and the 15th Siam Physics Congress (SPC2020)
The organizers are concerned about the situation of COVID-19/Coronavirus and want to assure the safety of all participants but the organizer also realizes the importance of SPC for Thai students and the Thai physics community. Therefore the organizers decided to move forward with SPC2020 program but with a different type of conference:
1. The Congress will not be held physically at Trang but will utilize internet (online) connection to several hubs from different universities/institutes.
2. Thai Physics Society & Mahidol University will facilitate the whole SPC2020 teleconference.
3. IOP Proceedings of SPC2020 is still “on” as planned.
4. The registration fee is reduced to 2,000 THB
5. More details about how to participate, give your presentation (oral/poster) by the teleconference and other information will follow shortly at this website.
